CRANBERRY JELLO™ SALAD
1 6-ounce package cranberry Jello™ 4 cups whole berry cranberry sauce (recipe below) 1 cup whipping cream 1 large package Philadelphia Cream Cheese 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Dissolve Jello™ in boiling water. Add 2 cans of whole berry cranberry sauce. Pour into 9 x 9-inch dish. When Jello™ mixture is set frost the top with the following mixture:
Whip 1 cup whipping cream. Blend in l large package of Philadelphia Cream Cheese. Add 1 cup chopped nuts (optional). Refrigerate.
WHOLE CRANBERRY SAUCE:
1 ½ cups sugar
¾ cup water
3 cups (12 oz. by weight) CAPE BLANCO CRANBERRIES
Boil sugar and water together for 5 minutes. Add washed, stemmed cranberries and boil without stirring until the skins burst. Any extra sauce may be kept refrigerated for up to 2 weeks.
